C260

RAYCO’s C260 is a mid-sized mulcher that delivers 260 hp in a compact, low ground pressure package. The C260 is suited for clearing small trees, underbrush, and a variety of unwanted vegetation over a wide range of ground conditions. A powerful Cummins QSB6.7L turbo diesel engine powers the C260, producing 730 foot-pounds of torque while meeting Tier III emissions. RAYCO’s exclusive elevated cooling design is operator friendly and features a reversing fan in the limbriser cooler. This helps to extend service intervals even when operating in hot, debris-filled environments. When manual cleaning of the debris screens is necessary, the rear door opens to allow unrestricted access to the debris screen and engine radiator. The C260’s cab is climate controlled and sealed from dust and debris to maintain operator comfort. An LCD panel displays all gauges and warning indicators and has a built-in back-up camera. For safety, the cab is certified to meet ROPS, FOPS, and OPS specifications and is equipped with a roof-top escape hatch. The heavy-duty steel undercarriage and powerful final drives allow operators to tackle difficult terrain with confidence. The standard, 24-inch track shoes yield ground pressure of 4.71 psi (including mulcher head), while the optional 20-inch shoes achieve 5.65 psi and optional 28-inch shoes achieve 4.04 psi. The C260 is purpose built to power RAYCO’s Predator mulcher head. The Predator has a cutting width of 77.5-inches and overall width of 93.125-inches. The low-profile design of the mulching head allows excellent visibility from the operator’s seat. Power is optimized through a pair of variable displacement hydrostatic motors. A hydraulic mulching flap and adjustable push bar are standard features.
